Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Joseph Berardi received his undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University, graduating magna cum laude, and his medical degree from the University of Arizona. He then completed his general and plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch before returning to Scottsdale to launch his own practice in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Berardi has received many awards including “Best Plastic Surgeon” in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Dr. Fox is not only our fantastic anesthesiologist but she is also married to Dr. Berardi.
Dr. Fox attended Fairfield University in Connecticut on a full ride volleyball scholarship for her undergraduate degree. She then earned her MD from American University of the Caribbean. She attended The University of Arizona for her Anesthesiology
Dr. Fox is not only our fantastic anesthesiologist but she is also married to Dr. Berardi.

She absolutely loves taking care of our patients at SCNS and prides herself on making their surgical journey enjoyable. She likes to pre-operatively address the patient’s worry or concern about post-operative nausea and pain.
Dr. Fox loves working with the staff at SCNS because it feels like family. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, her two adorable children and their two dogs.

Wanda spent two and a half years in the United States Air Force where she was trained as an Operating Room Technician. She attended nursing school earning her LPN before joining the United States Air Force and serving two and a half years. While in the military, she was trained as an operating room technician.
She loves the plastic surgery industry for working with excellent doctors and the types of surgeries being elective and non-emergent. Seeing how happy the patients are with their results brings her joy. Wanda's favorite thing about working with the staff is the family like atmosphere.
Married for 30 years, her favorite past time is playing with her five grandchildren. She also enjoys watching the Chicago Fire series with her husband.

Vanessa joined Surgery Center North Scottsdale in 2023. She is originally from California and moved to Arizona in 2006. Vanessa graduated with a BSN from Arizona State University in 2018 and started her nursing career in oncology with
pediatrics and then adults.
